FAQ   -   Hardwood   -   General

Is it okay to spill water on the hardwood floor?

Yes, and no. If you spill a glass of water or a coke on the hardwood floor, you can wipe it up with a paper towel, and there is no problem with hardwood floor. But if you spill a gallon of water or drip constantly over time, the hardwood will get water damage. You can tell water damages by touching the affected area with your hand. If you fill rough, warped, or a buckled feeling, it means it is water-damaged.
