No, we put a rosin paper on top of the plywood. By putting a rosin paper, it eliminates the squeaky noise, and eases the transfer of the moisture from the plywood to the hardwood. The rosin paper also makes the installer’s work little bit easier by sliding the wood to its position smoother.
